The thought of developing a website for your business may seem a daunting prospect, but Blue Stripe Web Design will work with you every step of the way, answering your questions and taking away the mystery as we go.

Your first two decisions will be to choose the domain name for your site – your address on the internet – and to choose what kind of website will be most suitable for your business. You’ll probably already have some ideas of your own, and we’ll talk your ideas through and suggest a few of our own during your initial consultation. We’ll also suggest advice on the layout, content and structure of the site in order to help you prepare the text and images that will form the basis of your new website.

After your consultation and following payment of a small deposit, Blue Stripe Web Design will register your unique domain name and provide an outline description of how your site will look when it’s finished. Once all text and images have been submitted by you, a provisional design will be undertaken and “parked” on a temporary website for you to evaluate. Minor changes to the layout or content can then by agreed and incorporated prior to design sign-off.

At design sign-off, all files will be supplied to you on a CD ROM for uploading to the Internet. Alternatively, by choosing Blue Stripe Web Design’s web hosting service, you can have your website uploaded for you.

Where the six page limit of our Multi-Page design package is insufficient for your needs, for example if your business is within the retail sector or you wish to include extensive details of a large range of products or services, our Unlimited Page Design Package gives you total flexibility without any limitations on the overall size of your website.

FREE .co.uk Domain Name

All our web design packages include the registration of a .co.uk domain name for a period of 2 years (where required), with the option to upgrade to other domain name styles or take out additional domain names (e.g. .com or .net etc). For customers who choose not to take advantage of our web hosting service, the domain name will be forwarded to your own webspace and includes up to 10 agreed email aliases.

FREE Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) can be an expensive business. However, at Blue Stripe Web Design we don’t charge you a huge fee to have your website listed on major Search Engines such as Google. Our in-depth knowledge of the requirements of Search Engines ensures that all of our website designs take on page optimisation techniques into account from the outset. This helps to ensure that your site receives a higher ranking, increasing the number of visitors to your site - without costing the earth.

FREE Promotional / Business Cards

Both our Multi-Page and Unlimited Page web design packages include 250 FREE publicity or business cards to help promote your new website. The cards are professionally printed on quality card, and measure 87mm x 49mm. Larger quantities of cards can be supplied for a small additional fee.

Web Hosting Service

Your website will be uploaded to the Internet and hosted for 12 months using reputable ad-free 3rd party web servers. If requested, statistics showing how many people have visited your site can be provided by email on a monthly basis. Our web hosting package is renewable on an annual basis.

FREE Search Engine Submission

All our web hosting packages include FREE submission to major Search Engines to help publicise your new website.

Please note that following submission, Blue Stripe Web Design are not responsible for how long it takes for individual search engines to list your website, and cannot guarantee the ranking of your site, as these factors are beyond our control.

Site Maintenance & Updates

Our standard package gives you 1 hour per month of design time to undertake maintenance and updates to your website, ensuring your site remains eye-catching and up to date. Should you require a higher level of support, we will agree a specific maintenance package with you. All maintenance packages are renewable on an annual basis.

Additional Domain Name Registrations & Upgrades

All our web design packages include free Registration of a .co.uk domain name for a period of 2 years. Should you require any additional domain names to be registered for your business, such as .com or .net, Blue Stripe Web Design will arrange this for you.

Digital Photography & Image Manipulation

If you don't already have suitable images to use on your new website, Blue Stripe Web Design can create them for you.
